called a joint that told me to come in to compare plumbing parts so i wasn't getting the wrong shit. it was a good ways away. got a fucking ticket along the way for making a right turn at an intersection that said 'no turn on red.' a guy in front of me went (he got a ticket too), no traffic was coming, so i followed. didn't even see that damn sign since it's even with the white paint. plus i ain't from that side of town. i wasn't paying attention cuz the fucking po-po fhp was right there waiting to make some money by writing them damn tix. 146 bucks and 3 fucking points.

truck behind me that was third in line ain't get pulled over. i went back to peep that intersection and the piece of shit cop was letting other vehicles go. selective ass motherfucker. fuck that whole situation. i chalk it up to wrong place, wrong time. everything happens for a reason. if my plumbing never went kaput and other places i called got back with me, this was a trip that wouldn't be necessary and i woulda saved the gas, wear and tear on my car, time, and more importantly, i wouldn't have got no fucking ticket! so fuck it!

went to some joint called total maintenance on old cheney. motherfucker on the phone said they had signage but they didn't. got lost and had to call 'em for their street number since i aint have it before. that's my bad. now i know better and shoulda had that info ahead of time. place was bout to close cuz the damn cop sucked up a good 15 minutes of my time. guy had the parts but they cost a grip and didn't look right to me. but that's all he had. they were crane-repcal and looked similar but i ain't think they'd do the job. just wasn't similar enough.

so i asked if i should just replace rather than repair cuz that was lookin' like my most likely option. he agreed that i should go from the 3 handle shit i got now to single handle with stops and choose a brand name that's gonna be around rather than some fly-by-night shit. so this means i gotta hire a plumber. coulda fixed my current shit on my own but i couldn't justify the cost vs. the age and availability of the product over the long haul. gotta do my research now. glad my other bathroom got a shower. single handle at that.
