I’ve researched a lot of legit work-at-home opportunities and companies that primarily deal with taking calls and order fulfillment and such, and the one thing they all have in common is that their requirements are antiquated. If you have wireless internet only, forget it. They require a LAN connection. 3G and EVDO won’t do either. Use VoIP? Forget it. You have to have a dedicated fiber optic landline. Cell phones or anything else other than a landline ain’t gonna cut it. And in most cases, that registered landline is the only one you can work with. Can’t use any other if you’re gonna be away temporarily (like on vacay) and wanna work. Unless you register more than one and that’s if the company let’s you do that. Not all of them do. Got Vista on your computer? Forget it. Most companies are only compatible with XP only but some do support Vista. Got x64 like me? That’s 50/50. Obviously x86 XP is gonna work out for you. x64 XP maybe, maybe not. Vista x64, you can completely forget about it. Got SP3 XP? Still gonna be a maybe, maybe not. Got a Mac? You’re outta gas. Practically no company that I’ve researched has Mac support.

 

In a world where everything is going wireless, XP is being phased out, cell phones are replacing landlines as primary phones, VoIP is being bundled with internet and cable and is a viable alternative, and Mac popularity is increasing, I don’t understand why these companies can’t get with the times. Not even a few years ago, I’d say legit work-from-home opportunities were either non-existent or extremely hard to find. With advances in technology and a shitty economy, now it’s a reality. Anyone that meets requirements and has the skills and a little cheddar to plunk down if they wanna be an independent contractor can do it now. And that’s great. I’m all for it. But the requirements are so 2 years ago. I have a very advanced computer, the money, and the skills. Yet because I’m ahead of the curve, I can’t take advantage of these opportunities. I think that sucks. I understand their security concerns but that’s just my opinion.

 

Spending all that money just to meet their requirements, if you don’t, is like taking a step back cuz you’ve already spent all that money exceeding them. Just doesn’t make sense to me. So many more opportunities could be created. I know of countless companies that have easy as piss positions that damn near any idiot can do as long as they have an internet connection and an up to date computer. People can do phone, im, or email services from home rather than wake up earlier than necessary, get dressed, drive and waste gas, time, and put wear and tear on their car, spend extra money on food for lunches and breaks, and put up with lousy supervisors and employees. For easy ass jobs like that, motherfuckers should be able to just wake up and go straight to work, butt ass naked with eye crust and funky breath. I know there’s the argument that that’d help create more unhealthy individuals cuz they’d lose some exercise that going to and being at work creates. Fuck that. Those lard asses are gonna be lard asses no matter what.

 

The companies don’t think about the money they’d save. Human resources that wouldn’t be necessary. Physical space and resources that could be preserved or used for something else productive. Liability insurance costs would drastically decrease. For certain positions, working from home is ideal. A nice, quiet, and comfortable home environment to work in with good wages and benefits would equate to less stress. They’d create happier employees and people in general. The money saved could go to higher wages and benefits and even bonuses for home employees who are exceptional. I do believe in pay for performance. Seniority is bullshit. Just cuz someone has been there longer don’t mean they should have more privilege. A young buck comes in and runs circles around the old horse, shouldn’t they be rewarded? I think so. Applies to any type of employment. And a damn good reward, to me, is the opportunity to work from home, for example. Everybody wins. I don’t see how these companies don’t see it this way. Fix and/or upgrade your software and infrastructure and not only do you gain but so do we. We’re all here for the same reason: to make money. And I’ll leave it at that.

 

I had to revert back to the JW media player v3.16 cuz v4.1 has probs with the preview images. I posted the issue in a related thread on their site here. So if you’re having issues too, then that’s the place to express your concerns. About the only solution I see is another version upgrade. I still use v4.1 for mp3’s though. Another prob I have is running ads through the videos I have here. The code changed for v4.1. v3.16 is fairly simple as the same code that appears in their wizard is basically the same code you can use to run ads. The new version is confusing and has additional code that doesn’t appear in the wizard code. I sent them an email about it a couple days ago via Longtail Video but haven’t gotten a reply back yet. If I get no reply at all, I’ll consider that unprofessional and not bother promoting their service here with the referral link.

 

Anyone who’s emailed me asking a question or needed help with something on my site or about something elsewhere can tell you I reply very quickly. People take time out of their day to visit and (if you’re lucky) visit repeatedly, recommend the site to others, talk about it online and link back in forums or wherever, and all that stuff makes it worthwhile. It makes me feel like I’m not doing all this for nothing. And yes, there’s money to be made via donations and affiliates and it’s appreciated. People out there give a shit about me and what I have to say and offer. They could get their fix on any other site but they choose to come here for their own reasons. The least I can do is reply when someone asks a question, no matter how insignificant. Even if I’m short on time, and these days I am quite a bit, I make time for my visitors. It really gets to me when you have a favorite site and you’re inclined to ask something and you get no response. Ever.

 

Running a site ain’t easy but it has to be treated like a business. Has to look good. Has to be updated on the reg. Has to have easy navigation. Shouldn’t be intrusive at all. But most importantly, it has to have something that people want and/or need. I’ve visited worthless sites just like you have. They have no value, no info, no nothing. Redirect central and popup hell. Auto-generated articles and bot gibberish. Some are out strictly for the money and that’s fine. Others aren’t updated at all or have nothing to offer as far as me gaining any knowledge about whatever it was I was looking for. No entertainment value either. I’d like to think that I offer something of value to all my visitors. Otherwise the returners wouldn’t return. What I’m trying to say is that if someone took the time to visit my site and has a question, complaint, or comment, positive or negative, and is clearly asking for a reply, I will make damn sure they get one in a timely manner. It’s professional and the right thing to do in my opinion.

 

The exclusive video section is officially up and active but I only have the one wrestling video there for now. The issues with the JW media player I mentioned earlier set me way back as far as moving everything over. But it’ll get done. What’ll also get done, and I hope soon, is me finishing up my 2 stories for MG and FTS and getting them submitted for copyright. I was all ready to go a couple weeks ago and what was supposed to be a short, easy day turned into a long day and set me back and I’ve yet to recover. What happened was I went to the auto shop and it should’ve only taken a couple hours. Took half the damn day! While I was there, I brought my laptop to take care of biz. I need the internet to do that. I brought my mobile broadband card with me but it decided not to work. So I was sitting at that fucking place being non-productive. Because of that, I still haven’t had the time to tidy up my pad, watch tv as often, or update certain parts of the site. I’m way behind on shit because of one fucked up day that happened weeks ago. Life works like that sometimes and it fucking sucks. But I’m resilient. I’ll be bouncing back and getting done what I need to get done soon enough. I’ve always been the type of guy that gets shit done and makes shit happen. Don’t worry ‘bout me.

There’s more bestiality in the news here and here. And someone did a fair amount of research on the suspect in the stories here. This time it’s a Florida boy (the articles don’t say how he got caught) who was fucking his dog on video and he had child porn vids on his computer. And his mom knew what he was doing with the dog. Sick? I don’t know. Here’s my opinion (been saying that a lot in this article for some reason). If he was forcefully sucking and fucking the dog against its will, then that’s just not right. That’s more along the lines of bestiality than zoophilia. But if it was “consensual,” meaning the dog allowed him to do whatever he was doing and if it was in a non-forceful, non-abusive manner, then that’s fine. What I mean is if he was sucking the dog off or letting the dog fuck him and he didn’t get his face chewed off, that’s okay. But if he was shoving a pencil up its ass or some crazy shit like that, then that’s not okay. The only ones who know the true nature of the acts were him and the ones who saw the vid…and the dog.

 

There’s a fine line between true pet love and abuse. I don’t (and won’t) engage in any of that shit but I can stomach watching it. I’ve seen some vids where the animals are really into it, sometimes too much. And then there’s the ones where you know the animal doesn’t have a say in what’s going on. I don’t agree with any of that shit. If humans wanna fuck animals, that’s fine. If animals wanna fuck humans, that’s fine. No one is forcing that dog or horse to mount the guy or girl who has their ass and pussy wide open for them to slide up in. If a bitch bends over naked in front of a dog, the dog decides to fuck her, and she lets him without complaint or resistance, is that abuse? Using different logic, wouldn’t that really be the dog sexually abusing her? Is that even possible?

 

Then there’s the kiddie porn aspect of this guy. I firmly believe there’s 5 different types of pedophiles. First is the smart ones who work in careers where they have all-access to children. Like priests, teachers, nannies, and certain types of cops who can watch child porn freely since it’s their job. Second is the voracious pedo. The parents who sexually abuse their kids or the creepy guy lurking around the playground looking for prey. Third is the pimp. They run the kiddie brothels in places like Panama and India where sex tourism is high. Pedos from everywhere on Earth visit these places to get their rocks off and they usually get away with it. Fourth is the producers and exploiters. They’re the ones human trafficking, taking and posting pics, and shooting and starring in vids that get sold and distributed all over the world. And fifth is the end user of those products. The closet pedo. That would be our guy in the news story.

 

There’s a diff between pedophilia and underage sex. Pedophilia is the little kids that have that 8-year-old look. They can be younger, of course, or they can be a little older. But they have to have that little kid look. That’s who the pedophiles want. Then there’s underage sex. I’ll choose girls for this example. We all know that girls are maturing at an early age. I’ve seen, just like you’ve seen, girls around 14 or 15 that are fully developed and physically matured. You’d never guess they’re as young as they are cuz their physical features are the equivalent of a 20-30-year-old from decades past. That’s the benchmark that we use. A couple generations from now, that phrase, “She’s got the body of a 20-year-old” will be meaningless.

 

I don’t have a prob at all with consensual, informed underage sex. Meaning that the younger party knows exactly what they’re doing and they agree to do it with the older party. I do have a prob with pedophilia since those young kids have absolutely no idea what the fuck is going on or is happening to them. The adults say it’s okay, they just go along with it cuz they don’t know any better and that’s not right. It’s traumatic and exploitative at the same time. But is there any harm in watching?

 

There will always be pedophiles. If you think locking them up will solve anything or that they can be cured then you’re an even bigger idiot than the people professing that dumb shit. If end users decided to stop paying for or sharing child porn, the producers would still exist as they’re pedophiles too, but of the voracious variety. Closet pedos would either move on to another stage of pedophilia or just stay in the closet, not doing any direct harm to any child. They get their fix vicariously. In most cases, they’d never engage in any act but they still know what gets their dick hard. The same way I watch a chick fist herself and get horny from that, the same way these motherfuckers watch a grown ass man fucking a 12-year-old boy or girl and they get horny from that. They finance the shit, no doubt, in the simple fact that some of them pay for the shit. The demand is there, thus the existence of the producers. But if the money stopped flowing, pedophilia would continue. The closet pedo would get their fix one way or another.

 

Who’s to say which way they’d lean? Take the shit away from them, you risk creating a voracious pedo. Take it away from all closet pedos and then what? Imagine that significance. So is there a need for the producers? Do they actually help keep the closet pedos (who are the vast majority) in check? Honestly, I don’t have an opinion formed on that yet. The suspect in this story acted upon his bestial side but, as far as anyone knows, never harmed a child. Is that because content was available to him that curbed the appetite to act? On the flip side, bestiality is more rampant than most people are willing to admit and is easily available to watch online, yet he still did the dog. But a dog is different from a human child, right? But abuse is still abuse, right? It’s a tricky situation that can only be taken on a case by case basis as far as I can see right now. But a side that I see that stems from this is do content producers actually help society by keeping inhibitions in check? Like I said, it’s tricky.
