Got paid via PayPal from PictureBang the other day. They pay once a month. Currently, you gotta have “over” 5 bucks in the account to get paid, not 5 bucks on the dot. Their tracking is a bit screwy. When you log in to check out how much you made for a day, it’s not accurate. It’s approximate. Since I had accumulated the $5 payout, I thought I was set. So I tried to withdraw it but it wouldn’t let me. Kept telling me I didn’t have enough. So I emailed them and they added a penny. Then I was able to withdraw. I earned that 5 bucks in only 2 weeks and I’d been with them for that amount of time, so this month I’m sure to make a whole lot more.
They reply to their emails fairly quickly and professionally so that’s a plus. If you have any probs, they work with you so props to them for that. They are new and do take suggestions to improve their site and service. Checking stats via FireFox 3 was a prob before. I let them know and the prob was either fixed by them or due to me installing version 3.0.1. For some reason, logon info isn’t saved at all in FF or IE so you gotta type your password every time you visit the site to login, and your username too if you don’t have it set to remember. It does take some time for the monthly stats to load. But I’ve been told they’re working on that. Having folders for uploaded pics and memorable file names is a suggestion I’ll kick their way later. And they’re working on the payout structure and wording. “Over” 5 bucks, 5 bucks or more…wording is important. And they told me they’re working on getting better approximations for stats.
As long as I get paid though, I’m good. I send them biz, they send me bread. I like it. And I know they pay. But you gotta request it. Otherwise your dough’ll be sitting there. And yes, it does rollover. You won’t lose your milky money if you don’t withdraw it on time. Overall, I like it so far. They need some tweaking here and there but it’ll all come in time, I hope. The payout name was from SJL Network Corp. for those of you that are curious and wanna do your research. But as I’ve said in past posts, if you know you share lots of images online via forums or whatever, why not get paid for sharing?
I missed my DepositFiles payout date. I wasn’t aware I had to check off a box indicating I agreed to their terms and conditions. So I sent them an email on what to do next since I don’t see a payment request button or anything and I don’t know if they send payment automatically. I have a healthy amount accumulating with them so I’m eager to get my hands on that money. Since I send them lots of visitors, if I perform well this month, they’ll raise my rate to $7.50 instead of $5 per 1000 downloads. And if I perform extremely well, I’ll get the $30 per 1000. That’s what I’m aiming for. One prob I have is that they currently don’t display which downloads come from Russia and the US since those are the only countries that apply for the per 1000 bonus. So you might have thousands of dl’s but you don’t know where they come from. That sucks. Hope their stat collection methods change soon. If you share files, just like PictureBang, why not get paid for it?
It took me a while to figure out what I wanted to do with Amazon but I know now. I use links in my new media posts and I’m taking advantage of their special promotions. Right now, they have a gift card and Amazon Prime promo. The gift cards speak for themselves. If you don’t know what to give someone but you know Amazon might be a great place for them to shop (and it is), then go for it. Why buy somebody something you think they want when they can get what the fuck they know they need? Don’t be that dipshit who’s surprised to see or hear about their friend returning the piece of shit gift you gave them for whatever occasion it was. A gift card is a great option. And Amazon pretty much sells everything. And I’ve never once had a prob with them or had to call them for anything or return anything. Spotless products and service from my experience.
Amazon Prime is mainly for those that need their shit shipped with the quickness and on the cheap. I tried it a good while back and you do get your stuff fast with free shipping. That’s the main appeal of it. What I did was sign up for the free trial, bought what I wanted, got it shipped in no time at all for free, and then cancelled the trial. No obligation of any kind. Worked exactly as advertised. I’d recommend this for two types of people. The first type is like me. You know you’re gonna buy something from Amazon. Might be cheap, might cost a grip, but you know you’re gonna spend your money there. You know you’re not gonna use them again anytime soon cuz once you place the order for whatever it is you’re buying, you’re set. Whatever you bought may qualify for the Free Super Saver Shipping but that takes a good amount of time for you to get it. With Prime, you know it’s coming in a couple days. And once you get your order and everything’s on point, you can cancel Prime with no commitment or anything like that. You got your shit, you got it shipped fast, you got it shipped free.
Then there’s those people that always buy shit from Amazon and might wanna hold on to the Prime service. If you buy shit often enough, it’ll pay for itself over time. Plus you get your shit faster and in the world of online retailing, that’s one of the biggest questions: “When am I gonna get my shit and how much is it gonna cost to ship?” Okay, two questions. With Prime, it’s self-explanatory. So I encourage you to give it a shot. I did and have no complaints about it. I got what I wanted from it and had no need for it later. Give it a shot if you have a purchase coming up and judge for yourself if it’s worth keeping or you can do my method. Use it and ditch it.
I just started using the eBay Partner Network so I can’t really comment on its performance. It’ll be a month or so before I can make a sound judgment on it and see if it’s worth keeping. Slowly but surely I’m getting some Google money. I changed my search box to only include my individual sites in the results rather than the whole internet. That way, I can ditch the search box from my host and use Google’s that gives the same results and I get a little cheddar from it.
Linkbucks is doing pretty good for me. I have a firewall so their ads don’t affect me in the slightest. Linking over isn’t intrusive at all and I’m accumulating a few cents a day so far so I like it. It pays a buck per 2000 clicks. I just started with them and I’m reaching that pretty quick. Payout is at 5 bucks. Since I’m new with them, I’ll let you know what’s going on in the long term. And once again, if you hyperlink a lot, why not get paid?
I brought back the Blogzerk link since I use their service for my 4 sites. They use the Blogware platform. If you’re a regular visitor, you know how this site has looked over time and what the service is capable of. Newbies, you’re seeing right now what the service is capable of. If you’re able to sign in and watch vids, you’ll see even more of what the service is capable of. Plus they have deals on registration. So if you’re thinking about a new blog or website and have some specific shit in mind as far as functionality and how you want it to look, take a look at what they have to offer. Lots of possibilities.
I have an AdBrite referral link but I might ditch it since I don’t use their services but Linkbucks does. But that decision will be based on its performance. I’ll give it about a month. My porn affiliates are all pretty new too. I’m only trying some of them to see how they perform. As is the case with them all, if I don’t make any money from them, that means you’re not interested. So that means I’ll have to go find something you are interested in and hope you care about it enough to click on it or try it out. That’s how these things work after all. All my non-porn referral links are on the non-porn pages of my site. So I encourage you to not be a complete fucking idiot. If you know you use or do certain things and someone is willing to pay you to do it or use it, get fucking paid. Don’t be stupid. And you can help support the site in the process. Everybody wins.
